Barna Pál Zsigmond is Parliamentary State Secretary at the Ministry of European Union Affairs. Between 2010 and 2017, he served as the head of the Consulate General of Hungary in Csíkszereda, but between 2017 and 2023 he was also responsible for coordinating the activities of the foreign representations in the Carpathian Basin and for the effective support of Hungarian communities beyond the borders as the Ministerial Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
