Jörg Jakob

He has worked for Germany's leading sports magazine Kicker for more than 21 years, including 11 years as deputy editor-in-chief and since 2014 as editor-in-chief. He began his career at the fourth oldest newspaper, the Gießener Anzeiger, where he first gained experience as sports editor, then as deputy editor-in-chief and finally as editor-in-chief. Jörg is President of European Sports Media (ESM), the European association of football-related publications.
